Our Studio Story

Crazy Moves Dance Studio was opened in September 2003 by Jessica Leenknegt. “Miss Jessica” owned and operated Crazy Moves for 14 years. During that time, she built and ran a successful competition team, organized and directed 14 yearly recitals, and built an incredible “dance family” through her passion.

In June of 2017, MacKenzie (Hein) Bolsby stepped into ownership of Crazy Moves Dance Studio. “Miss Mackenzie” carried Crazy Moves for the 4 years following. She overcame outstanding challenges, re-established the Crazy Moves Dance Studio Competition Team, organized and directed 3 recitals, and held a dance party for students who did not get a recital during the pandemic.

In April of 2022, ownership of Crazy Moves had been transferred to Mazzy Snay. “Miss Mazzy” has since followed in the footsteps of Jessica and MacKenzie, holding yearly recitals and running the competition team. She intends to improve the studio with each year and cannot wait for what the future holds.
